How to Navigate the System

Overview

In this article, we will explore the basic navigation of the AI Course Creator site and highlight the key features available.

Home Page


 
Upon logging in, you'll be directed to the home page. Here, you will find three buttons:
  1. Create a Course - Click this button to create a new course.
  2. View Course List - Click this button to view all available courses.
  3. View Course Theme - Click this button to view all available themes.


Navigation Bar



Next, in the navigation bar, you will see four more buttons:
  1. Home - Click this to return to the home page.
  2. Courses - Click this to view:
    1. Courses - View of all available courses. Related article: How to Create a Course
    2. Themes - View of all available themes. Related article: How to Create a Theme
    3. Categories - View of all available categories. Related article: How to Create and Edit Categories
  3. Administration - Click this to access site administration.
    1. Settings - Click this to modify site settings. Related article: How to Link Courses from AICC to Moodle LMS (LTI 1.3)
    2. Identity Management - Click this to view roles and users. Related article: How to Manage Roles and How to Manage Users
    3. Activity Logs - Click this to view site activities. Related article: How to Generate Activity Logs Report
  4. Tutorials - Click here to access tutorials that will guide you through how to navigate AI Course Creator effectively and make the most of its features.


User Profile



In your profile, you'll find the setup for your account and subscription:
  1. My Profile - Customise your profile. Related article: How to Manage User Profile
  2. My Subscription - View your subscription, invoices, and payment settings. Related article: How to Manage Subscription and Inclusions
  3. Sign out - Log out.


Sidebar Notification

Once a notification has been published, a bell icon will be displayed on the site header between the tutorial icon and the user profile icon.




A green flashing dot will appear atop the bell whenever there are active or unread notifications.




Once the bell icon is clicked, a notification sidebar will appear. This will display all published notifications. 


a. Within the notification sidebar, a 'Do not show again' button at the end of each notification is displayed. Once the user clicks on it, the notification will be removed from the notification sidebar, and the user will no longer see this notification.

b. An 'x' button is also displayed in the upper right corner of the notification sidebar. Once clicked, the sidebar will close.

On the 'My Profile' page, a new tab labelled 'Notifications' has been added. When clicked, this tab displays the active notification exactly the same way as the sidebar.




NOTE: Once user logs in, the notification sidebar will be automatically displayed if there are active notifications.

To contact support, go to the bottom right corner of the AICC page and click on the 'Contact Support' icon. This will allow you to send your questions or requests to support@eskilled.io.
