How to Create a Theme

Overview

AI Course Creator offers a diverse selection of themes designed to enrich the visual presentation of your course. As of now, there are eighteen distinct themes available, each meticulously crafted to offer a unique blend of colour schemes, fonts, and stylistic elements. These themes serve not only to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the courses but also to cater to various preferences and instructional contexts. Additionally, you can create your own theme for a more personal touch. In this guide, we'll discuss how to create a customised theme.

Before we begin creating a customised theme, please ensure to prepare the images you want to use for the following:

1. Theme Thumbnail
   
2. Cover
   
3. Background
   
4. Title Background
   
5. Banner

Note: You will have the option to use the course cover image as the theme thumbnail.

Step Tutorial

1. From the homepage of the AI Course Creator site, click on the 'View Course Themes' button to access the list of available themes.

2. You are now on the Themes List page, which displays a diverse selection of pre-created themes. To start creating a customised theme, click the 'Create Theme' button located at the upper right side of the page.

3. After accessing the creator page, you will be prompted to fill in the required details and upload the necessary images you have prepared to complete the theme creation process. The creator page is divided into four parts: theme information, cover page, course page, and course builder fonts.

NOTE: When filling out the four-part creator page, please note that all fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

PART A - THEME INFORMATION

i. Name * — Enter your desired theme name.

ii. Category — Enter the appropriate category for your theme or select from the options that will appear when you click on the textbox.

NOTE: Only one category is allowed per theme.

iii. Theme Style * — Choose from the preset styles that you would like to apply to your theme.

iv. Theme Image* — This will be your theme's thumbnail image and will be displayed on the Themes List page. To change it, click the upload icon located on the upper-right side of the preview image (). To crop it, click the crop icon located on the lower-right side of the preview image ().

NOTE: You may refer to the tutorial on How to Edit a Course > B. Image > Image Addition for a detailed discussion on uploading images.

v. Use Cover Page As Theme Image — Turning this on enables the option to use the cover page image as the theme thumbnail. You will set up the cover page image in Part B.

This section covers the editing setup for the cover image, font style, background, and start course button.
