How to Manage User Profile

Overview

In this tutorial, we will explore how the user can edit their information and how they can reset their system password.

Step tutorial

1. To manage your profile, hover the mouse to your icon at the upper right corner of the site then click 'My Profile'.

2. In the 'Profile Details' tab, the user has the option to do the following:

a. Replace profile picture by hovering to the default image and clicking the 'Replace Image' button.

NOTE: You may refer to the tutorial on How to Edit a Course > Step Tutorial for Editing the Content > Tool Blocks > B. Image > Image Addition to learn more about uploading an image.

b. The user can add their email, first name, last name, mobile number, and local timezone.

NOTE: Editing your username is restricted. 

c. Once done, click the "Update" button to save the changes.

3. In the Security tab, the user can change their password. 

NOTE: When changing the password, the system will need your current password for security purposes and to confirm that the account owner is making the changes.

Once you entered the required details, click the "Update Password" button to save the changes.
